The Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas Board is seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the Board into the next chapter of growth and innovation. The CEO provides strategic direction, fosters a culture of collaboration and exemplifies the Boards focus on excellence in service. The ideal candidate resides or is willing to relocate to the 19-county West Central Texas region and has a proven record of delivering successful outcomes, a history of relationship-building, a high degree of personal integrity and a passion for public service. OBJECTIVE:
To provide leadership, vision and direction to enhance the regional workforce system under the leadership of local workforce Board members.

Has regular contact with Board members, Chief-Elected Officials, fiscal agent staff, subrecipient management, Texas Workforce Commission staff and a diverse array of community stakeholders

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
This is a very responsible management position as chief executive officer (CEO) of the Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas Board and the West Central Texas Workforce Development Board, Inc. Duties include strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, program oversight, financial management, system innovation, policy development, team leadership, performance management and community representation.
EXAMPLES OF WORK:
Develop and implement the Board's strategic goals, ensuring alignment with local economic needs and workforce trends
Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, community and regional organizations, educational institutions, elected officials and government agencies to promote workforce development initiatives
Lead, mentor and develop a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability
Manage the budget and financial resources in conjunction with the fiscal agent to ensure transparency, accountability and compliance with grant requirements
Oversee the design, implementation and evaluation of workforce programs and services, ensuring they are effective and responsive to the needs of the region
Assists in development of policies and procedures for Board operations that enhance effectiveness of organization and local workforce system
Evaluates performance and establishes metrics for success to assess program effectiveness. Uses data-driven decisions to inform design and improve outcomes
Serves as support for Board and as primary spokesperson at meetings, conferences, community and events at the local, regional, state and national level related to workforce development
Involved with business leaders, economic development and other organizations to provide workforce information and support for initiatives that enhance and sustain the local and regional economy
Maintain awareness of local and regional economy and able to clearly and concisely convey potentially complex and/or sensitive workforce information to local media, elected officia s, board members, other organizations and the general public
