Responsibilities:
Process payroll on ADP Workforce Now, ensuring all details are reviewed, audited, and finalized accurately for each pay cycle.
Accurately maintain records in ADP Workforce Now, including setting up new hires, managing timekeeping and time-off requests, administering benefits, and updating payroll information.
Review and reconcile timecard data prior to payroll processing, collaborating with managers to address and resolve discrepancies.
Handle benefit enrollments for eligible employees, ensuring timely and accurate updates to payroll cycles to reflect employee changes.
Administer final pay and deductions for terminated employees, updating ADP Workforce Now and ending benefits according to company policy.
Prepare and monitor all federal and state tax payments, and create detailed spreadsheets for 401k deferrals and employer match calculations.
Conduct audits of benefit invoices to ensure billing accuracy and confirm deductions match payroll records.
Calculate PTO accruals annually and ensure accurate setup and maintenance of benefit plan parameters in ADP Workforce Now.
Assist with audit requests, including reviews of payroll, 401k plans, and workers' compensation.
Communicate with newly eligible employees, providing guidance on available benefits and assisting them in making enrollment decisions within the required deadlines.
Accurately enroll employees in selected benefits through secure systems and maintain records of their enrollment or waiver decisions.
Maintain a complete and accurate audit trail of all payroll transactions by pay cycle.
Requirements
Minimum of 4+ years' experience in a similar role as a Benefits & Payroll Specialist
Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now is required
Demonstrated skills in managing Benefit Functions
Expertise in Benefits Administration
Experience dealing with Multistate Payroll
Must have handled Full Cycle Payroll in previous roles
