Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Description

The Welder is responsible for welding components using the MIG process and assembling products per specifications and in accordance with the production schedule. This position requires certification in company-specific structural welds where weld strength is critical. The role also involves performing some assembly and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Weld components using MIG or TIG process

  • Assemble products as per specifications

  • Follow the production schedule

  • Perform company-specific structural welds

  • Execute assembly and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 2 years MIG/TIG experience

  • Ability to pass internal welding test

  • High School/GED or equivalent relevant experience

  • Working knowledge of principles and methods of welding

  • Skill in operation of welding equipment and tools of the welding trade

  • Basic math skills

  • Ability to read blueprints and layout parts to prints

  • Good hand-eye coordination

  • Demonstrated ability to weld complex welds

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Certification in company-specific structural welds

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
