Actalent Electronics Test Technician in Akron, Ohio

Description

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose and make repairs on a wide range of hardware

• Complete quality, test and other reports to verify hardware meets the drawings

• Support inventory management

• Potential travel to customer locations

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

• 1-5 years’ experience in a similar role

• Ability to understand wiring schematics, pneumatic schematics and assembly drawings

• Ability to locate, analyze, and correct power failures, short circuits, and electrical related problems

• Proficient with hand tools

• Ability to understand and apply basic mathematical skills

• Ability to follow instructions from engineers

• Ability to clearly convey problems to engineers

• Strong background in electrical systems

• Commitment to safety and quality

• Physically able to lift 35 lbs

• Effectively maintain the highest safety, quality and compliance standards

PLUS:

• Familiarity with tethered airborne systems and payloads

• Broad understanding of DoD airborne and ground systems, hardware, software, operations, and their interdependence

• Experience with CAD modeling software such as CREO, NX or SolidWorks

• Experience with mechanical and electrical drawing standards

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
