Job Title: General Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Performs general plumbing and pipe fitting associated with plumbing, including maintaining all water delivery functions in the plant; analyzes diagnoses and performs building repairs. Performs general clean-up and maintenance throughout the plant; operates a variety of equipment, including tow motors, tractors, overhead hoists, hand carts as necessary to perform the maintenance function; assists Machine Repair personnel in disassembling, repairing and reassembling equipment/machinery; repairs and maintains pumps; repairs and maintains hydraulics.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in AKRON, Ohio.

Work Environment

Union Environment - Probationary period of 120 days before hired into the union. Receive .25 cent raise twice a year. Currently have 6 total Maintenance Technicians and ideal state would be 8. Very clean working environment and temperature controlled.
