Job Description:

The Assistant Project Manager will support project teams in coordinating and managing ship repair, maintenance, and construction projects. This role involves working closely with Project Managers, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in planning, scheduling, and executing ship repair and construction projects.

• Monitoring project progress, budgets, and deadlines.

• Preparing project documentation, reports, and updates for stakeholders.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.

• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Supporting procurement and materials management for ongoing projects.

• Facilitating communication between clients, vendors, and internal teams.

• Troubleshooting and resolving project-related issues.

  Requirements • Hold at least a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

• Demonstrated experience in administrative office work.

• Proficiency in using office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions.

• Experience in project management would be an added advantage.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• High level of professionalism and ability to interact with a diverse group of people.
