Job Description

ESG Operations, an Inframark Company, is hiring a maintenance electrician to join our team in Albany, GA,

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Allocates work and provides technical direction, assistance and training to other personnel.

  • Ensures that all SOPs are followed, and DOT, OSHA and other requirements are met. Makes recommendations for improving SOPs.

  • Trains employees on proper plant operations, repair and installation techniques, SOPs and safe work practices.

  • Prepares maintenance schedules for equipment, vehicles and facilities.

  • Performs sophisticated electrical troubleshooting and repairs including wiring single/three phase motors.

  • Monitors and reviews work performed by staff and recommends and coaches appropriate improvement.

  • Maintains files and records of work orders and task completion.

  • Performs auto dialer installation and preventive maintenance, motor control installation and repairs, electrical preventive maintenance.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Willing to work all shifts, including: weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.

Education/Experience : High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of experience.

Licenses/Certifications : Valid Driver’s License (Class B CDL preferred). Other licenses helpful but not required: Electrical Apprentice Level 1, Master Journeyman License.

Technical : Ability to follow manual & operating instructions; Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications, internet & CMMS Systems. Ability to work with basic office equipment & phone systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to: frequently lift 50-60 pounds; load, unload & move large equipment/tools; access confined spaces; continuously walk and climb stairs and ladders.
