DEPARTMENT: Economic Development, Conservation and PlanningSALARY RANGE: $110.000—$140,000WORK HOURS: 8:30am—4:30pm Monday to FridayLOCATION: 112 State St, Albany NY 12207BENEFITS:► Paid Time-Off ► Tuition Reimbursement ► NYS Retirement► Health, Dental, Vision and Hearing ► Employee Assistance ProgramRESPONSIBILITIES:An incumbent in this class has responsibility for the initiation, coordination, formulation, review, administration and direction of economic development and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) activities undertaken by the County PlanningDepartment. Projects are assigned to subordinates who are responsible to the Director for their progress and completion.The Director assists the Chairman of the County Planning Board on specific directions on Planning Board activities. ThePlanning Director reports to, and is accountable to, the County Executive. Does related work as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Business Administration, Public Administration, Marketing or closely related field and four (4) years of experience in municipal planning,public policy or business management, of which two (2) years must have been in a supervisory or administrative capacityPlease Attach Your Resume and a Cover Letter to this Application.
