Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionThe incumbent works under the direct supervision of the Manager of IT. The incumbent must have excellent organization skills, attention to details, ability to follow written instructions and documentation, and good problem-solving ability. The incumbent will also be expected to attend job-related seminars, conferences and training classes at the discretion of the Manager of IT and CIO. Will participate in on-call responsibilities for the purpose of maintaining security and system uptime.Duties & ResponsibilitiesServersAssist in the testing, diagnostics and specifications of servers and software.Assist with performance monitoring and tracking.Assist with maintaining virtual hosts and servers as needed.CommunicationsMaintain, configure, and monitor firewalls, routers, and switches.Maintain, configure, and monitor phone systems.Maintain, configure, and monitor mobile devices.GeneralRemain current and knowledgeable in all related fields of expertise.Recommendations of hardware and software purchases.Other duties as assigned.Detailed monitoring, analytics and reporting in all areas of responsibility.Specification, development, maintenance, and testing of failover systems. Participation in an annual disaster recovery test.Recommend enhancements or other actions as appropriate for all systems.Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures.RequirementsSolid understanding of Cisco and HPE/Aruba devices and software.Working knowledge in areas of network routing and SDWAN.Proficient in communications systems management (Voice, VOIP, and mobile)Must have good verbal and written communications skills.Preferred certifications: Microsoft Server et al, Network+, CCST, CCNA, ACA-SA, ACA-NSPhysical RequirementsMust be capable of adding, removing, and altering hardware devices and their respective power and data cables. Said hardware may be located on or above ceilings, and at or below floor level.Work Schedule: Mon. - Fri. 8:15am - 5:00pmSalary Description$66,000 to $71,000
