Duties Description Under the direction of a Manger Information Technology Services 1, SG-27, within the Dedicated Support division, Worker’s Compensation Board section, the Project Coordinator, SG-NS, will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day support for the critical operations of the Insurance Compliance (IC2) application system as well as managing the intake of new project and enhancement to existing systems. This will include supporting projects as part of the overall WCB Modernization program. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:- Assist the program solution architect to automate data transmissions between OBLR and IC2.- Lead the IC2 Stabilization project. - Oversee and direct technical work performed by vendor staff.- Coordinate unit testing, formal functional and performance testing with QA team and UAT with WCB teams to ensure quality product is produced by vendor staff.- Prepare and execute a production implementation plan.- Report status to ITS and WCB management on regular basis.- Triage and resolve production issues and analyze system enhancement requests.- Perform system analysis and develop system specifications.- Coordinate and assign tasks to various developers, portfolio, or platform.- Develop and be proficient in various technologies and products, such as: PowerBuilder, C#/.Net, and Sybase. - Ensure staff are trained and create products that meet ITS and Portfolio standards and policies. - Analyze the impact of project demand as they pertain to this information system and prepare formal resource/cost estimates.- Perform all supervisory responsibilities as applicable.

Minimum Qualifications At least six years of experience with PowerBuilder (versions 10.5 and higher), migrating PowerBuilder applications, Enterprise Architecture Framework (EAF), and familiarity with integrating .net code.The following degrees may substitute for the general experience as indicated:1) An associate's degree and five years of experience.2) An associate's degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and four years of experience.3) A bachelor's degree and four years of experience.4) A bachelor's degree including 15 semester credit hours in computer science and three years of experience.5) A master's degree in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experience.6) A doctorate in computer science or related field substitutes for an additional year of experience.
