WM Public Sector Sales Trainer Specialist in Albany, New York

I. Job Summary
This Area level position is responsible for creating learning resources and training the PSS segment team members as well as drives efficiency improvement and profitable revenue growth for the PSS and residential verticals. Additionally, provides training and development to both the Senior Account Executive and support staff. This position reports to the PSS Senior Tier Director or their designee.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
Maintains and reinforces the corporate sales strategy and design with the Public Sector Leadership.
Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction on all sales training. Communicates to and work with the PSS Area Sales.
Management team to help provide training skills to resolve escalated or unique customer issues.
This position may supervise activities of the PSS Sales Support queues and parts of the Inside Sales Department. Ensures team members work cohesively with both internal and external customers. Drives consistent productivity as well as monitors workloads across queues.
Consistently reviews and updates PSS SOPs for including recommending and implementing efficiencies when possible.
Executes ongoing training that provides both formal training and informal coaching sessions to the Public Sector sales and support team members.
Participates in developing and facilitating training the Public Sector sales and support staff. Creates and delivers quality training programs as required to increase the effectiveness of employees.
Assesses training needs, develops, and enhances new and existing training programs which consistently meet the goals and needs of the company and the end user. Determines training needs from input given by the field and PSS leadership.
Manages the operation of the training programs and projects.
Manages project progress and is the focal point for the communications of training project status throughout the development and execution of delivery of the program, session and/or material.
Continually evaluates the effectiveness of all programs for updating and enhancements.
Provides leadership and may supervise direct reports. Includes training and development, performance appraisal preparation, objective setting, salary administration and resource scheduling.

IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant experience.
Experience: Minimum two (2) years relevant business-to-business sales experience (in addition to education requirement).

Normal setting for this job is: office and work from home.
The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $98,210 - $137,804.50. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
