About the Role:
Confluent has an opening for an Americas Partner Success Leader to develop, recruit, and align with our sales leadership team to maximize our partner ecosystem potential. This partner leadership role spans across our System Integrators (SIs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).
We’re looking for a leader who is excited to jump in, build a strategic roadmap, and execute on the current opportunities while building the relationships and engagement to drive our partner business to the next level of success. This leader will be responsible for the overall ecosystem portfolio, sales alignment with our field leadership team, hiring and motivating a sales culture with our partner development managers, and exceeding all partner sales metrics.
What You Will Do:
Work with the Global Partner teams to manage the field execution with Regional and Global Systems Integrator, Cloud Partners, and ISVs
Drive recruitment and enablement with target partners in the region and support other partner requirements as necessary
Work with sales leadership to develop partner strategy and a plan to support execution in the region
Work closely with Confluent sales teams to develop and execute key partner opportunities
Lead an alliance partner team that effectively executes the joint business plan
Work with Confluent’s Partner Solutions Engineers and Marketing Team to enable partners to develop, launch, and support Confluent-based solutions and services
Provide coaching and mentorship, growth opportunities, team advocacy, and leadership for the Americas Partner Success team and across the organization
What You Will Bring:
10+ years of related experience in partner sales, business development, and/or partner development across the AMER region
Track record working with Global SI (“GSI”) and Regional SI’s (“RSI”) across AMER in joint GTM motions to drive consumption
Familiarity with GCP, Azure, and/or AWS offerings and GTM approach
Outstanding track record of establishing and driving strategic partnership(s) between companies and channel partners
Proven success in building ambitious, compelling, multi-year, and multi-dimensional business plans
Demonstrated success in driving GTM and sales/revenue impact, including working with Microsoft, Google, and AWS stakeholders at different levels
A self-starter mindset with a strong sense of urgency and passion for making great things happen
Ability to drive cross-functional and global teams to achieve desired outcomes such as influenced bookings, new pipelines, logos, marketing leads, etc.
Experience with negotiating large and complex deals with industry leaders
Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior executives
Experience with Open Source, Data, and/or Analytics products

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $241,500 - $289,800, a competitive equity package and is also eligible for additional commission and/or bonus pay.
