Were searching for a highly skilled Process Safety Manager (PSM Manager) to contribute to ATIs growth and help us maintain our position as an innovative organization. This role is based at our Millersburg, OR facility. Relocation assistance is available.

The ideal candidate will have PSM management experience inclusive of OSHA PSM 1910.119, EPA RMP Section 112(r) of the 1990 Clean Air Act program, the National Emphasis Program (NEP): Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals, as well as a strong background in chemical manufacturing, PSM technical resources, planning, contractor management, scheduling, process engineering, project budgeting and PHA/LOPA/HAZOP/SFI skills.

The PSM Manager will be expected to manage the ATI Millersburg facility PSM program and sustain the facilities Process Safety Information (PSI) ensuring compliance with RAGAGEP. Interacting with operational, maintenance & engineering laterals, the PSM Manager will oversee the facilities Process Hazard Analysis, Hazard and Operability Assessments, Layers of Protection Analysis and Safety Integrity Level processes. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, budgeting, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • PSM program oversight

  • Coordinate with workforce to complete PHAs, LOPA, HAZOP, SIL activities

  • Oversee PSM auditing program and inspections to identify hazards and non-compliance issues

  • Train workforce on PSM program, procedures, regulations, and accident prevention

  • Investigating accidents and incidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future

  • Preparing reports on PSM incidents and compliance issues

  • Providing technical advice on PSM issues and proposed changes

  • Working with government regulators to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations

  • Keeping abreast of new laws and regulations relating to process safety

  • Developing safety policies and programs that instill a safety culture within the organization

  • Work with organizational engineering teams to ensure maximum performance is achieved, providing purpose, direction, and motivation of PSM efforts.

  • Process Safety Management Cultural Committee development

  • RAGAGEP compliance

  • Oversee facility Management of Change program and coordinate with interested parties on the execution of EMOC & MOC process.
