Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Provides authoritative advice and guidance for the HQ Directorates serving as the senior/principle CorpsNet ISSM providing expert technical, operational, analytical, programmatic guidance and advice to the Commander, Authorizing Official (AO). Responsibilities Determine, formulate, and write policy, guidelines and procedures to oversee the CorpsNet computing program and ensures it is implemented and effective in all USACE commands. Responsible for writing and interpreting regulations to establish and manage CorpsNet incident reporting and compliance, to include procedures for unclassified and ensures that unclassified computing standards are enforced. Ensures that the Cyberspace Protection Conditions (CPCON) program is implemented and executed in accordance with Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) and Army policy. Assesses the USACE cybersecurity posture and provides management reports. Ensure the integrity of cybersecurity and protect systems and networks against denial of service and interruption. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: Must meet one year of specialized experience, such experience are: 1) Develops guidance and assists subordinates through the Definition, Verification, Validation, and Post Accreditation phases; 2) Develops policies to resolve cyber security issues and requirement; 3) Ensures conformance with network security architecture and furnishes to the USACE Chief Architect cybersecurity technology (hardware/software) standards and requirements. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
