Utz Brands Warehouse Manager in Algona, Washington

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our team in Algona, WA. This position will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operational practices of the Algona Warehouse to assure and execute daily goals and corporate objectives. Act as the key liaison between warehouse management and warehouse personnel across all organizational levels. Accountable for the supervision and training of all Algona warehouse personnel. Responsible to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while exemplifying leadership, technical knowledge, and best practices. Must be flexible and willing to perform at levels to meet peak demand in periods of high volume and activity. Key Responsibilities Responsible for meeting the performance goals of the facility. Monitor and coordinate employee work quality to deliver exceptional service. Management of the site P&L Leverage ERP system (Microsoft D365) to process orders, receive product, pull production, and maintain accurate /sufficient inventory levels. Prepares and ensures accuracy of all orders. Directing the loading and unloading of product. Loads and unloads trucks using forklift or pallet jack as needed. Execute monthly inventories and necessary reconciliation. Moves finished product, checks codes dates to ensure product quality. Provides exceptional service to customers. Responsible for the security of the warehouse and property. Ensures that all safety and environmental programs of the facility are maintained. Support and lead continuous improvement efforts to improve quality of service and increase safety and efficiency of warehouse operations. Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of the warehouse operations. Effectively manages and coordinates staffing of warehouse employees (3 shifts). Coach and develop warehouse employees. Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively listen, communicate, and interface across all organizational levels. Strong math and reading skills. Supervisory skills necessary to lead Ability to coordinate operational activities and meet Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Ability to work 12-hours or more per shift with flexibility to work non-scheduled hours days.
