Actalent Engineering Technician in Allentown, Pennsylvania
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Electronics Technician to support our electronic manufacturing and maintenance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic components and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic components and systems.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electronic devices and equipment.
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop and refine electronic designs.
Conduct quality control checks to verify the accuracy and functionality of electronic systems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and testing activities.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Provide technical support and training to production staff on electronic systems and equipment.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronic technology and engineering practices.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electronics Technician.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
Strong understanding of electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
