Works with staff in Benefits, Compensation and Employee Wellness, including Retirement and Tuition Reimbursement, to gain experience and skills in the Human Resources profession.
About the Total Rewards Team:
The Total Rewards team services all employees within the St. Luke’s Network. This position will be hybrid, allowing for remote work and on-site at St. Luke’s Center, in Allentown, with visits to Anderson, Bethlehem, and Upper Bucks campuses.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shadows team members from Compensation, Benefits & Employee Wellness to gain valuable skills.
Works with the Employee Wellness Team to staff Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) sites. They will assist the farmer with unloading shares, distributing bags of produce to employees and answering general programmatic questions.
Creates wellness content for social media platforms and/or departmental newsletters. Topics will be focused on nutrition, exercise, sleep, emotional wellbeing and substance use/misuse. Content to be reviewed by the appropriate Employee Wellness staff member(s) before posted.
Design an annual communication calendar based on monthly health observances.
Create monthly communication content for the Benefits management team to review for broadcast to the Network.
Assist with data clean-up of pension plans.
Perform data audits to improve accuracy of data for compensation and retirement.
Work independently on assigned projects with ability to meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A recent graduate or college/university student pursuing a Human Resources degree or related academic major.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Advanced working knowledge with Microsoft Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required. Creative skills using Canva or similar software, ability to design communication pieces and social media content including photos, graphics, and text.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Part time, day shift. Hybrid work schedule. 15-30 hours/week
