Description We are in search of a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to become a part of our team, based in Alpharetta, Georgia, United States. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable processes. This includes handling vendor emails, managing check requests, posting transactions, and processing a substantial volume of invoices. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process a high volume of invoices, ensuring all data entry is correct.

• Handle vendor emails professionally and promptly, addressing any inquiries or issues.

• Oversee check requests, ensuring all checks are properly run.

• Conduct account reconciliation activities to ensure all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.

• Maintain careful postings of all transactions, keeping a keen eye on any discrepancies.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to keep track of accounts payable data.

• Employ SAP for various accounting activities.

• Ensure all invoices are correctly coded before processing.

• Monitor the status of current Accounts Payable representative, adjusting workload accordingly. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or a similar role.

• Experience in using SAP.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP).

• Experience in conducting check runs.

• Skilled in coding invoices.

• Excellent data entry skills.

• Familiarity with invoice processing.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
