Job Purpose & Scope

This position is responsible for oversight of business processes, exception tracking, regulatory compliance, process improvement measures, analysis, reporting, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Essential Job Functions

• Performs quality control reviews of the underwriting and funding functions forming independent conclusions of control effectiveness and compliance with applicable consumer protection regulatory requirements.

• Prepares management trend reporting, ensuring there are no gaps in the end to end process oversight.

• Develops and implements corrective action plans for resolution of issues and provides general guidance on how to avoid similar situations in the future.

• Escalates risk issues for further review.

• Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.

• Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to demonstrate effective organization, critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills.

• Ability to manage and interpret large amounts of data, and to compile detailed reports.

• Ability to multi-task and work well with exacting deadlines.

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

• Ability to work under general direction.

• Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related discipline, or commensurate work experience, required.

• Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in the financial services industry required.

• Minimum of one (1) year work experience in a quality control role, preferably in financial services, required.
