Strategically align current and future technologies with AT&T’s business goals, direct complex multi-year projects, and drive innovation and operational excellence.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
-Responsible for leveraging strong technical evaluation skills, including the ability to interpret disparate, complex information into a range of alternate futures (i.e. scenario planning and roadmap creation).
-Utilizes research skills and quickly evaluates competitive and industry dynamics with respect to technical and economic impacts by new and different technology/technologies.
-Leverages standard corporate strategy frameworks and applies analysis from a technical perspective. Integrates both technical and strategic analysis into a synthesized set of hypotheses and conclusions.
-Distills core components of complex problems into succinct and easily understood set of key decisions and conclusions. Demonstrates confidence and poise in presenting hypotheses, conclusions and recommendations to senior management.
Job Contribution:
Expert level technical professional. Advisor on technical knowledge and ATT technologies.
Position will support Voice over IP development, planning and budgeting. Understanding voice technologies networks is fundamental requirement. Applicant needs a basic understanding of financial analysis, like Business case development and Total Cost of Ownership models.
Applicant also needs to demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills.
Education:
Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Typically requires 8-10 years experience.
Our Principal Technology Strategy, earns between $128,400.00-$192,600.00 USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
