Job Description:

Maintenance Electrician - Ama, LA

This is a full-time, hourly position. This position is responsible for helping maintain the machinery and equipment through our PM schedule. Candidate will be required to work some non-scheduled overtime when breakdowns occur. They will need to be able to work as a TEAM.

Job Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in facility

  • Basic knowledge of 120VAC / 480VAC required

  • Knowledge of low voltage DC instruments

  • Calibrating electrical components

  • Running conduit and pulling wire

  • Knowledge of PLC’s a plus

  • Knowledge of meters and meggers is required

  • Knowledge of Medium voltage is a plus

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred

  • General electrical ability

  • Active and participate in safety programs. Learn and follow written rules and procedures

  • Preform electrical work.

  • Regular, timely attendance is a must

  • Respond to call-outs

  • Stay late and work overtime when breakdowns occur

  • The ability to climb stair, preform lifting, standing for long periods, work in confined spaces, work from heights, work over water, bend, kneel, and respirator qualified are all required

  • Candidate must be able to work in a variety of environmental conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures, and dusty environments.

  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
