Job Description

We are seeking a Melter for a temporary position lasting 2-3 months, with the possibility of extension based on productivity and attendance. The role involves general labor and production tasks, including stacking blocks of cocoa butter, palletizing boxes, heavy lifting, unpacking and using a lift machine to dump cocoa butter into a melter, and packaging the finished product.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in American Canyon, California.

Work Environment

This position is in a food production facility with warm work areas reaching up to 120 degrees during summer. The environment is louder than average due to machinery. Candidates must wear steel-toe or steel-cap shoes above the ankle. The position is for the 3rd shift, from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM. The schedule includes rotating days off with two consecutive days off, and candidates must be open to working all days of the week, including at least two weekends per month. The facility operates 24/7, and candidates can expect to work 5-10 hours of overtime per week.
