Job Title: Manufacturing Excellence Manager

Job Description

A Manufacturing Excellence Manager is a leader in a manufacturing company who works to enhance the production process. They aim to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and delivery by using lean methods and best practices to achieve top performance. This person will work with autonomy and report to the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Identify areas for improvement within the production process, design and implement strategies to optimize operations, and track progress against goals.

  • Promote a culture of lean thinking by educating employees on lean principles like waste reduction, standardized work, and process flow to embed continuous improvement into daily operations.

  • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Oversee improvement projects, assign tasks to teams, and ensure timely completion of initiatives.

  • Coach and mentor employees to develop their problem-solving skills and continuous improvement capabilities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, quality control, and supply chain to align strategies and achieve overall manufacturing excellence.

Work Environment

Facility rules include no jewelry, fake lashes, fake nails, or heavy smells, and no nuts or glass allowed. Flexible shift options are available from 7 AM - 4 PM or 8 AM - 5 PM. Work 40-60 hours a week, with no weekends unless for pre-planned events. GMP compliance requires removing jewelry and avoiding nail polish or acrylics on the floor. Employees are eligible for bonuses based on achievement of results.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of American Canyon, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00

The benefits package includes comprehensive medical and dental coverage, a 401K retirement plan, as well as performance-based bonuses and incentives.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in American Canyon,CA.
