We are seeking a highly motivated, hands on, organized and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. You will schedule warehouse staff and delegate tasks to ensure efficient receiving and shipment of goods. When shipments arrive or before deliveries leave the warehouse, you will check inventory with orders to check that the shipment is complete. Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in a warehouse, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage production, receiving, warehousing, distribution processes and procedures, ensuring staff compliance
• Conduct physical counts of products and reconcile with data to maintain adequate inventory levels
• Develop and monitor procedures for safety and security of warehouse environment and all goods
• Inspect all warehouse equipment and order repairs and replacements when required
• Recruit and train new warehouse employees
• Oversee all warehouse employees, including creating schedules, and issuing corrective action when required
• Production and efficiency are paramount

Warehouse Manager Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in a warehouse
• Familiarity with inventory control and management
• Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of air and power tools
• DOT Medical card, clean driving record Production Manager (is the backup driver)
