[[Incumbent serves as a Field Officer, responsible for conducting field inspections on active program participants who are on either an Electronic Monitoring, Work Release, or Adult Day Reporting program component with Madison County Community Corrections

**[[DUTIES: [[Assist with supervision of active program participants who are on various program components and closely monitor for compliance with program requirements and special conditions; make telephone, in-office, and field contacts; record contacts on appropriate forms and record-keeping systems and retain participant files; make contact with other agencies/employers to monitor progress/attendance; reviews messages received from program participants to determine compliance with attendance and daily leave and return schedules, program rules and the law.

[[Conducts drug and alcohol screening randomly as needed and logs results accordingly for record-keeping; Exercises good judgment and sound reasoning in determining whether participants comply with court orders and their agency contract.

[[Conducts program participant interviews, following prescribed legal guidelines and policies and procedures of Madison County Community Corrections. Explains program rules and regulations and fee structure. May perform electronic monitoring hook-ups in the office.

[[Establishes and maintains working relationships with referral sources, such as the Probation Department, Court staff, Law Enforcement agencies, etc., to monitor program participants compliance.

[[It affects custodial arrests when authorized, transports offenders, collects and records evidence, and testifies in court.

[[Enters, maintains, and retrieves various computer records as required. Prepares and submits required logs/reports according to prescribed deadlines.
