Description

We are in the process of expanding our team in Anderson, South Carolina, and are currently on the lookout for a dedicated Network Engineer. As a part of our IT Services team, your role will mainly revolve around managing network infrastructure using an array of Cisco technologies. The role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, providing a platform to showcase your skills in Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies.

The project will kick off within the next few weeks and will last roughly 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and deploying network infrastructure using Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.

• Regularly monitoring and maintaining network performance, performing troubleshooting as necessary.

• Configuring Cisco hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to resolve network issues efficiently.

• Implementing and maintaining security protocols to safeguard network integrity.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support network-related initiatives, including cloud integrations and remote access solutions.

• Staying updated with evolving Cisco technologies and industry best practices to enhance network capabilities.

• Working extensively with Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Cisco Firewall, Firewall Configuration, Cisco CCNA, Network Routing, and Network Switches.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in IT Networking required.

• Proficiency in Cisco ASA is necessary for this role.

• Must be well-versed in operating Cisco Routers.

• Familiarity with various Cisco Technologies is a requirement.

• Experience with Backup Technologies is essential.

• Expertise in handling Computer Hardware is expected.

• Knowledge in Cisco Firewall is required.

• Ability to perform Firewall Configuration is crucial.

• Cisco CCNA certification or similar is nice to have.

• Proficiency in Network Routing is necessary.

• Experience with Network Switches is required.
