MKS Instruments Inc Sr. Manager, Global Travel and Events in Andover, Massachusetts

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As the Senior Manager of Travel and Events within our Global Supply Chain organization you will oversee and manage the company’s corporate travel and events program on a global scale. You will implement policies, negotiate vendor contracts, and leverage technology to streamline travel operations across global markets. Additionally, you will focus on expanding and implementing the travel program in new locations worldwide, ensuring a seamless and scalable travel infrastructure that supports business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative international environment navigating multiple, organizations, sites, cultures and practices. You will report to the Sr Director, Global Supply Chain.

You Make an Impact By:

  • Develop and implement a global corporate travel strategy aligned with company objectives.

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with travel service providers to ensure high-quality service.

  • Analyze travel trends, expenses, and market conditions to optimize travel programs.

  • Negotiate contracts with airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, and travel management companies (TMCs).

  • Establish and enforce travel policies that ensure compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Work closely with security and HR teams to manage duty-of-care programs, traveler safety and emergency response procedures.

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Travel Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate travel management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience with a global roll out - expanding and implementing travel programs internationality.

  • Strong leadership, project management, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Knowledge of travel industry trends, regulations, risk management, duty-of-care programs and emergency response planning.
