Manpower is seeking qualified candidates for a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity for a highly motivated individual with excellent attention to detail and enjoys working in a fast pace environment

JOB TITLE: Warehouse Assocate

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

Pay: $17-$19/hr plus excellent benefits and bonus pay

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for hands-on daily warehouse operational activities, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, and picking, packing and shipping orders.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Receiving goods per Purchase Orders

• Accurately picking products using computerized warehouse management system

• Packing products into boxes and generating labels

• Shipping goods per Sales Orders to customers and creating associated paperwork

• Loading/Unloading trucks via forklift

• Restocking shelves

• Assisting in inventory cycle counts

• Keeping a clean and safe working environment

• Reporting discrepancies

• Communicating and cooperating with supervisor and coworkers

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to quickly switch from one function to the next.

Must be familiar with computers. Data entry will be required.

Must be willing to operate a forklift. Training provided.

Dependable and reliable.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High school diploma.

Previous warehouse experience a plus.

A drug test and background test is required upon hire.
