Description We are on the lookout for a diligent Accounts Payable Specialist to be a part of our team. Situated in ANN ARBOR, Michigan, this role predominantly revolves around managing customer accounts, processing applications, and maintaining meticulous customer records. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately execute customer credit applications in an efficient manner.

• Uphold precise records of customer credit.

• Tackle customer inquiries and provide prompt resolutions.

• Monitor customer accounts vigilantly and initiate appropriate actions.

• Effectively perform accounting functions, focusing on accounts payable.

• Handle 3-way matching tasks with precision and speed.

• Utilize Microsoft 365 Enterprise and Microsoft Excel for various tasks.

• Oversee posting payments and cash applications.

• Manage chargebacks and conduct bank reconciliations.

• Perform account reconciliation and handle invoice discrepancies. Requirements • Proficient in various Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Knowledge of 3 Way Matching in accounting

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Enterprise

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks

• Experience in Posting Payments

• Skilled in Cash Applications

• Ability to handle Chargebacks

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Ability to handle and resolve Invoice Discrepancies
