Description:
Glacier Hills is seeking a Business Office Assistant for their community in Ann Arbor. The Primary purpose of this position is to assist in the day-to-day accounting functions of Glacier Hills in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principle.
Front desk reception
Collection calls and letters
A/R data entry
Insurance verification and copays
Money handling
The ideal candidate will be comfortable running collections, problem solve independently, able to prioritize and be a self-started. Hours are 8:00-4:30 M-F

Responsibilities include but not limited to :
Assists residents and family members with business office services, including directing billing questions to the appropriate campus or corporate colleagues timely and courteously.
Private pay billings and collections.
Post cash for private pay billings.
Local assistance with purchase order processing.
Assists colleagues with business office services.
Maintains adequate office supplies and coordinates service requests for campus business equipment (eg. copiers, postage machines).
Provides support as needed to the business office manager and other business office staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 2 years administrative experience in a dynamic work environment required.
Exceptional Customer Service Skills
Professional demeanor and telephone etiquette
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
