Group/DivisionThe Legal Compliance Organization (LCO) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA and second headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI provides legal guidance to further KLA's strategic objectives and protect and preserve the legal, ethical and financial integrity and reputation of the Company. With specific expertise in the areas of corporate law, commercial law, employment law, and intellectual property; the LCO offers strategic legal counsel that is informed by a clear understanding of the company's business objectives and expertise in the laws and regulations relevant to the business worldwide.
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications The Information Governance Project Manager oversees the development, implementation, and management of new information governance programs. This role ensures that all data is handled securely and complies with legal and regulatory requirements. Information governance is vital for a tech company, as it ensures proper data management, security, and compliance, helping to mitigate risks and protect sensitive information. KLA leads in technological innovation, tackling complex scientific challenges in electron and photon optics, sensors, machine learning, and data analytics.
Develop, implement, and manage an enterprise-wide information governance program.
Implement effective processes and procedures to identify, maintain, and preserve information as required by law, regulation, and business process.
Conduct training programs designed to educate active employees and new hires on record policies/procedures and data protection/classification guidelines.
Advocate the importance of compliance with the IG Program at all levels within the organization.
Update retention/procedures/schedules and data protection guidelines to ensure compliance with information governance program goals.
Collaborate with internal partners to ensure compliance with all policies and develop technical solutions to drive the overall program forward.
Assist the Legal and Compliance Organization with execution of Legal Hold Directives, document preservation, and related discovery functions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Level Degree and work experience of 8 years or Master's Level Degree and work experience of 6 years or Doctorate and work experience of 3 years.
Base Pay Range: $99,300.00 - $168,800.00 Annually
