Job Title: Quality Technician II - Non-Exempt
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient safety and product quality. This role involves using precision measuring equipment, reading and understanding engineering drawings, and performing various inspections and audits. You will collaborate with engineering and machine shop staff, manage calibration programs, and maintain quality system documentation. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $35-40 and operates on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2-10:30 PM.
Hard Skills
Use of precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, gage pins, optical comparators, CMM vision systems)
Reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications
Standard problem-solving techniques
Performing pre-sterile and post-sterile inspections
Inspecting and releasing raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished devices
Documenting Non-Conforming Reports and participating in investigations
Conducting internal audits
Completing first article inspections
Collaborating on the design of measurement gages and holding fixtures
Executing gage R&R studies
Managing and administering calibration programs
