Job Description

An Insight Global customer is in need of hiring a Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) to oversee a large Data Transformation project. This is individual will partner closely with other leaders within the organization Data Management Office and collaborate with Data Engineers and Analysts on a daily basis. This is a hybrid position 2-3 days a week onsite in Ann Arbor, MI.

 As a Technical Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the successful execution of complex projects focused on data transformation, Databricks utilization, and personalization initiatives.

 Responsible for Portfolio management between Enterprise Information Management and Ecommerce, Loyalty, Retail, Marketing teams.

 Responsible for defining and gaining consensus on project scope and objectives, creating project work plans, facilitating scrum and status meetings, and ensuring continuous alignment across the project team members and leaders.

 Identifies and manages project RAID and change requests; leads mitigation and resolution efforts to limit risks, escalates as needed.

 Monitors project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule.

 Works with architects , Developers and QA team members to design business solutions by applying the right technology; and works with project team to document business processes and requirements that can be used for development, as appropriate.

 Oversees client/customer/vendor relations to ensure that service expectations are met or exceeded.

 Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation Range: $50/hr to $60/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in leading large-scale Data Transformation projects or programs

 Strong background working in a Project Management or Technical Delivery role in Data Engineering environments and/or teams

 Experience with JIRA Atlassian project tracking software

 Strong understanding of ETL processes and possess the project planning skills to oversee and deliver a project of that nature

 Experience with ETL tools, Data Lakes, Data Storage and Data Migrations

 Familiarity with Databricks and cloud-based data platforms highly desirable.

 Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation and facilitation skills.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

 Demonstrated effectiveness in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment. Scrum Master or PMP Certification

 Data Management or Data Engineering Certifications or Project Awards null
