Job Summary
This position is an onsite role.
Nightwing is looking for interns interested in developing technologies to defend, attack and exploit computer networks as CNO Programmers. Applicants are expected to understand operating systems and software internals. They should be comfortable developing in C, assembly language, networking, and basic reverse engineering concepts. Some developers specialize in hardware emulation imitating the behavior of one or more pieces of hardware to help analyze system behavior.
Basic Required Qualifications
Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Masters degree program in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Proficiency in C/C++ across the x86, PowerPC, MIPS, or ARM environments
Scripting experience with Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.
Experience with core Unix features, including Named Pipes / Pipes, pThread, Signal Handlers etc.
Familiarity with static decompilers (e.g HexRays) & disassemblers (e.g. Ghidra)
Experience developing against or working with large opensource projects (e.g. AOSP)
2 or more of the following preferred qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the ARM64/ARM32 Architecture
Experience with Linux/Unix bootloaders (e.g. u-boot, aboot)
Experience developing and productizing N-days
Experience with and knowledge of SELinux, cgroups, and other Linux permission models
Familiarity with APK decompilation tools such as JEB, JADX or Dex2Jar
