ICF Business Generalist (Bachelors, Remote) in Annapolis, Maryland

Description

ICF is seeking an entry-level Business Generalist professional that will support a variety of organizational transformation projects to include helping Federal clients identify business areas for improvement, develop strategies, and execute business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have an interest in consulting, project management/coordination, process improvement, change management, technology implementation, training, and organizational strategy. The individual needs to be a self-starter who has the initiative to research topics and solve problems with limited oversight. Selected individual may work remotely from MD, VA, or DC, but will be required to travel within the DMV area for occasional client meetings. They will work with a team to:

  • Edit and conduct thorough quality assurance checks of materials to ensure they are free of errors and meet the highest standards for professional deliverables.

  • Reviewcurrentorganizationalstructuresandprocessesandrecommendenhancements,improvements,andefficienciesbasedonresearchandcollaboration with the team.

  • Support technology implementation, including gathering requirements and developing and delivering training materials.

  • Draftcommunicationsplans toclearlyarticulateICF’s approachforachievingprojectobjectives.

  • Conduct interviews and collect thorough and accurate data to draft Standard Operating Procedures for existing processes.

  • Participate in data collection and analysis efforts (e.g., interviews, focus groups, pilot tests) to better understand our clients, their organizations, and their needs.

  • Write sections of reports, guidebooks, and training materials, tailoring style and content for different target audiences.

  • Prepare client-ready products that meet both company and client standards and needs.

  • Support the design, development, implementation, and revision of project plans and adhere to established timelines while delivering quality work products.

  • Work with team members to identify problems and conduct root cause analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (in fields such as, but not limited to, the following: Political Science, Public Policy, Psychology, Sociology, Business, Data Science)

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high quality results according to deadlines.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).

  • Interest in helping clients solve problems.

  • Analytical skills and the ability to provide insight into project progress and operational improvements.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team environment with strict deadlines.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions.

  • Superior attention to detail in all elements of work.

  • Ability to take initiative and ownership with minimal direction from senior staff.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$49,148.00 - $83,552.00
