SUMMARY:

This work entails all aspects of the design and development of state-of-the-art bulk acoustic wave (BAW) used in wireless infrastructure and defense applications.

Acoustic design involves product definition, feasibility, computer simulation, design for manufacturability, layout, and test characterization.

The design of RF components in the range of 1GHz to 12GHz will be required for applications such as Cellular Base Station, GPS, Radar, Space and other Defense or Wireless Infrastructure applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To design BAW devices employing a variety of design techniques, including ladder filters, coupled-resonator (CRF), and hybrid filters.
