JOB REQUIREMENTS: Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - MAINT001964 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Description Performs activities engaged in machine fabrication, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. Primary Responsibilities * Perform tasks in dismantling, assembling and installing industrial machinery. * Fabricates, installs, maintains, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic machinery and equipment. * Diagnose, repair and perform maintenance tasks on high and low voltage power distribution systems, AC and DC drives, microprocessors, relay logic, control wiring and related technologies * Repair and replace defective parts and components. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts and components. * Maintains inventory on supplies and spare parts. * Read blueprints and schematics to effectively troubleshoot equipment in a timely manner. * Maintain and train employees in the safe and efficient methods to repair equipment by following company developed LOTO and other related programs. * Installs and repairs manufacturing equipment, acting as plant expert in. * Enforces plant safety regulations. * Other duties as assigned by management. Work Conditions Environment: Light Manufacturing While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and inside/outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The manufacturing environment is not environmentally controlled resulting in exposure to winter cold and summer heat in the work area.
