About the role: Project Manager I is a leader of projects and programs within the EP Project Management group. The scope of projects may include activities from initial product development to the end of product life across business units and manufacturing sites. This PM role will be focused on both hardware and firmware support for the third-party integration for piece of capital equipment. Project size will range from small one-off tasks to large process improvement, design change, line extension activities, design transfers and projects driving global productivity and commercialization. Multiple projects will be handled simultaneously with cross-functional team members from R&D, Design Assurance, Packaging, Regulatory, Operations, Supplier Development, Supply Chain and Clinical, as well as some vendor interactions. Work Mode At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our Arden Hills, MN office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities include: Developing, executing and leading of project/program teams to successfully deliver the defined products/solutions to business unit management (initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes) Identifying resources required for assigned project activities and forming teams to complete the activities Building team ownership and commitment to project plan Developing and monitoring project budgets through regular analysis of cost and spending Timely communication of priorities and status with senior management, regional and functional leads including presentations and discussions at FLT (Franchise Leadership Team) and PIB (Product Investment Board) Managing challenges of technology application and new product development including identification, communication and escalation of technical and business risks Resolving conflicts with team members and providing input to functional managers on team and team member performance Facilitating end of life of products following commercial release of new products Mentoring and/or coaching other functional and project managers Fostering a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives Monitoring and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements) Required qualifications Bachelor's degree 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience Strong organization, communication and influencing skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to confidently handle full responsibility for project completion Results-oriented and focused on delivering timely, accurate and premium execution Demonstrated experience in building relationships across a network of people and functions Experience in managing multiple cross-functional projects and/or initiatives A medium amount of supervision/coaching is expected for person in this role Preferred qualifications and competencies BS Degree, Engineering PMP Certification Background in medical device development Knowledge of DHF, DMR and Engineering Change processes Experience communicating and influencing all l vels of the organization Experience managing sustaining and new product development projects including business critical and high visibility projects Experience with Capital Equipment, SMFD and TPI process Demonstrated ability to lead small and medium cross functional teams as a Project Manager, Operations Leader or Technical Leader Product knowledge of EP products and processes Requisition ID:600977 Minimum Salary: $99100 Maximum Salary: $188300 The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
