We are seeking an energetic, skilled Maintenance Technician for openings in our facility in Ark
City, KS.
Main Functions:
Maintenance Technicians have the job of keeping our facility running at the very peak of
performance. The duties they perform are invaluable to us, because without them our
operations might grind to a halt.
Primary Objectives:
Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objective for quality, food
safety, regulatory compliances, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction at KanPak
Participate in formulating and administering divisions short- and long-range goals and
objectives for business growth

Coordinate with GSF Quality, Safety and Operations groups to meet the standard
objectives for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliances, cost, safety, and
customer satisfaction at KanPak.
Participate in the administration of KanPaks short, and long-term goals and objectives
for business growth.
Troubleshooting complicated mechanical systems and monitoring operations
throughout the facility.
Perform preventative, and predictive maintenance of process equipment throughout
the facility.
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hydraulic, steam, and pneumatic equipment.
Troubleshoot minor plumbing, building repair, and upkeep.
Responsible for monitoring performance, recognizing deviation from normal
operation and rectifying the issues discovered.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School / GED required; Associate degree preferred
Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble all types of equipment.
2-3 years experience or equivalent employment; industrial maintenance experience
preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of electro-mechanical, pneumatics, PLC controllers, and process
instrumentation is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Basic computer skills. (Email, Word, and Excel)
Must have strong problem-solving skills.
Must be a self-motivated individual.
Ability and willingness to work well with others and be a team member.
Must have safe work habits.
Must show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work.
Ability to move up to 50 lbs. occasionally, use hands and fingers regularly, and stand for
8+ hours per day.
Skill and ability to:
Serve as a team member, lead as the team role warrants
Work collaboratively with production for optimum efficiency
Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
