Rental Station Attendant (Revised October 2024)

Job Summary

The Rental Station Attendant will assist customers and inspect, troubleshoot, service, repair, test, and maintain rental equipment and tools.

Rental Station Attendants are expected to maintain a positive representation of The Rental Station. The main task of the Rental Station Attendant is to provide outstanding customer service and keep equipment running at optimal and safe conditions. Rental Station Attendant is responsible for includes but is not limited to skid loaders, forklifts, tractor, manlifts, and other various equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities

Inspect equipment for defects and troubleshoot issues.

Repair equipment and components as needed.

Order parts.

Routine equipment maintenance.

Maintain service record log.

Operate and/or test all equipment safely.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Adheres to all store policy and safety standards.

Required Skills/Abilities

Customer service skills.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Mechanical background

Ability to problem-solve and work independently.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Basic computer knowledge.

Operational knowledge of all relevant equipment.

Ability to maintain logs and records.

Work without constant supervision

Professionalism and outstanding customer service skills.

Education and Experience

Minimum Class C drivers license with no violations within the past 3 years.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
