Our Network Operations team works around the clock running United’s global operation, safely, reliably and efficiently. From dispatching and routing our fleet to coordinating with maintenance line planning and crew scheduling, this team makes caring connections with our internal customers and ultimately, United’s customers. From pushback to landing, the Network Operations team is the eyes and ears on the ground no matter where in the world your United flight takes you.

Job overview and responsibilities
The Senior Manager – Charters & NRFO Execution is responsible for ensuring the operational support of United Airlines operational focus business and governmental charter operations with regards to safety, regulatory compliance, and efficiency efforts. Additionally the Senior Manager leads all aspects of the Manager Charter Standards and a team of Principal Charter Coordinators in the safe operation of Charter and NRFO flights. The Senior Manager supports and maintains collaborative relationships with coworkers, Unions, and Labor Relations to ensure contractual compliance and support the Core4 culture.
Handles the day-to-day NOC charters operation and NRFO to ensure accurate execution and compliance with all safety, regulatory, and efficiency considerations
Leads a team of Principal Charter Coordinators to ensure adherence to SOP
Leads all aspects of the development and implementation of standardized policies and procedures
Supports and maintains collaborative relationships with coworkers, Unions, and Labor Relations to ensure contractual compliance and support the Core4 culture
Communicates frequently and effectively regarding challenges to the operation with on shift stakeholders, subject matter experts and other team members
NOTE: This position is based at the NOC in Arlington Heights, IL and considered as an onsite position.
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Field of study in Aviation, Management, or related field
7+ years of experience in an operational environment
Comprehensive understanding of the role of charter operations and load planning
Strong solid understanding of Teams and other virtual software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills, which include the ability to research issues to make an informed decision
Able to work independently and be self-motivated while still working within a team environment and encouraging a strong team collaboration
Excellent time management, decision-making and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written, and verbal are required
High attention to detail
Must be willing and able to travel at least 10-15% domestically and internationally
Must be willing and able to work at the NOC in Arlington Heights, IL as onsite
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $124,735.00 to $169,950.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
