Job Title: Construction Superintendent - Waste Transfer Station

Job Description:

Join our national design and construction firm as a Construction Superintendent, responsible for leading the installation of a waste transfer station. You'll ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, document compliance issues, and implement corrective actions. Your role will include maintaining safe work conditions, upholding corporate quality standards, and potentially supervising various trade groups, such as electricians, pipefitters, and carpenters. Drive our safety initiatives and resource coordination to support project and maintenance success, while continuously striving for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee on-site personnel compliance with safety and work protocols.

  • Document violations and recommend effective corrective actions.

  • Maintain safe working environments while enforcing quality standards.

  • Supervise diverse trade groups within the mechanical discipline.

  • Lead safety systems to achieve annual improvement targets.

  • Coordinate resources for maintenance activities and projects.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven superintendent experience in commercial construction.

  • Expertise in mechanical and electrical equipment installations.

  • Strong background in conveyor systems and commissioning.

  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and coordination abilities.

  • Commitment to safety compliance and quality enforcement.
