D.R. Horton, Inc.is currently looking for a_IT Procurement Specialist II_. The right candidate will is responsible for the procurement of hardware and software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for the procurement of hardware in support of company-wide IT requests
- Maintain inventory levels necessary to fulfill equipment requests on material shipped from the corporate office to end-users
- Responsible for the procurement of software, maintenance of licensing information and inventory of software media
- Update inventory system with new product part number and descriptions for issuance of purchase orders
- Track order status with vendors and provides status to customers on outstanding requests. Work directly with shipping and receiving on order issues and changes
- Issue Purchase Order and Lease Equipment Order requests from other team members and departments
- Verify Purchase Order and packing slip receipts for accuracy and payments
- Serve as a subject matter expert in company processes and procedures
- Process bill-outs to divisions from daily shipment paperwork
- Assist in processing receipts of open orders and recording of assets into inventory records
- Assist as necessary in the processing of IT requests
- Manage domain purchases and releases, when necessary
- Act as back-up to other team members as needed
- Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Education and/or Experience * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) * Two to three years related experience/training * Ability to work well within a team * Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently to balance competing deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail * Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines * Possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications * Proficiency with MS Office and email * Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision * The noise level is generally moderate
