Robert Half Project Manager in Arlington, Texas

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Arlington, Texas. This role is within the General Contracting industry and involves the planning, procurement, and execution of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction plans, coordinating with engineering/architectural firms, and overseeing budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the planning, procurement, and execution of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.

• Read, comprehend, and manage construction plans and related documents.

• Coordinate with engineering and architectural firms to ensure project specifications are met.

• Oversee project budgets and ensure all financial objectives are adhered to.

• Lead the construction team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and clients to maintain strong relationships and ensure project requirements are met.

• Conduct weekly design/construction meetings to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns.

• Keep upper management informed of construction progress, providing regular updates and reports.

• Manage the process of performing take-offs and creating a schedule of values.

• Review closeout documents and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and on time. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Project Management role

• Demonstrable skills in managing construction plans

• Proven ability to manage budgets effectively

• Experience in the management of Work In Progress (WIP)

• Excellent leadership and team management skills

• Proficient in project management software

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business or Engineering

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred but not required

• Ability to adapt to changes in project scope and direction.
