The Transportation Department of the North Central Texas Council of Governments is seeking Transportation Planners to support the Land-Use and Mobility Options program, specifically within the area of Regional Transit Coordination and Mobility Management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to participate and discuss public transportation projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area with internal staff, transit partners, public and private transportation providers, local governments, communities, and other stakeholders.Applicants wishing to be considered for this position should apply online at. Assisting with the coordination, implementation, management, and assessment of short-term transit-related projects

Supporting the implementation of transit focused strategies outlined in Access North Texas (

).

Assisting with building supportive community networks

Supporting the development of traditional and innovative transit service delivery in a multimodal environment across a multi-county region

Providing technical assistance and support within the agency and to external partners for short-term transit system planning, service planning, analysis, and service design
