We are seeking a talented and motivated
Security Operations Analystto join our dynamic team
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats and incidents using SIEM tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security solutions.
- Analyze security alerts, investigate anomalies, and conduct root cause analysis to identify and mitigate risks.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to enhance security posture.
- Develop and enforce incident response plans, ensuring rapid and effective remediation of security breaches.
- Maintain compliance with security standards such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to implement security best practices and improve system defenses.
- Conduct security awareness training and educate employees on cybersecurity risks.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and documentation for threat intelligence, security incidents, and compliance audits.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in security operations, cybersecurity analysis, or incident response.
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence, security event monitoring, and risk management.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or similar), EDR tools, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and Zero Trust security models.
- Understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection.
- Proficiency in cyber forensics, malware analysis, and security automation (SOAR) is a plus.
- Industry certifications preferred:
- CompTIA Security+ (Required)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (Preferred)
- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Microsoft/AWS/Azure Security Certifications
- Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance if required.
