Role Overview: As a Military Field Service T408 Depot Representative, you will provide on-site technical assistance to Military organizations, meeting both business and contractual objectives. This position is on-site at the US Navy Fleet Readiness Center, East, where you will assist with overhaul processes, tooling, and hardware issues in the maintenance, repair, and testing of the T408 helicopter engine.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Act as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns covering a wide variety of support issues related to the maintenance, repair, and test of the T408 engine.
Establish and maintain contact to provide ongoing technical and business support to assigned customers.
Direct customer interaction and coordination utilizing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute on contract deliverables.
Utilize best practices and knowledge of how your area integrates with others; be aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
Propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated maintenance and troubleshooting processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
Explain information and develop skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within the field. Convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a field service/maintenance position as a Military Field Service Representative).
Minimum of 3 years of field maintenance, modification, and repair experience on propulsion system products in heavy maintenance, manufacturing, or depot environments.

Ability and willingness to undergo customer-required background checks.
Ability and willingness to relocate to domestic or international locations to support the needs of the business.
Ability and willingness to successfully complete all requirements for domestic and international customer assignments.

Proven analytical and quality improvement ability.
Demonstrated proficiency in repair troubleshooting, shop operations, and testing of assigned programs/hardware.
Ability to work with and make formal presentations to all levels of maintenance, engineering, and management.
Project management experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence GE customers and peers.
Knowledge of the learning process and ability to transfer technical knowledge to less qualified personnel, including the ability to express thoughts in both oral and written communications.
Ability to work independently, without technical guidance, and perform all required work tasks.
High degree of tact, diplomacy, and ability to work and cooperate harmoniously with customer personnel.
