Job Description:
The Accounting Manager Assistant is responsible for managing payables, receiving, invoicing, and the staff accountability, among other key responsibilities. The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares and records assets, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Maintains and balances accounts, resolves discrepancies.
Ensures integrity of accounting information.
Maintains general ledger, reviews trial balance.
Reconcile multiple bank accounts monthly.
Reconcile asset and liability (Balance Sheet) accounts monthly.
Record adjusting journal entries monthly.
Import multiple bank feeds, review and post, weekly.
Record reimbursed expenses and travel advances weekly.
Review general ledger posting, resolve discrepancies and adjust as necessary, weekly.
Provide ad hoc reports, as necessary.
Analyze data, as necessary.
Provide guidance for new processes, as necessary.
Audit support, as necessary.
Process and/or approve ACH transactions, as necessary.
Provide backup for corporate payroll processing, as necessary.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
Requirements:
A degree in Accounting is required.
2+ years of related work experience is required.
Experience with Hilton accounting.
Extensive knowledge of Hilton operations.
