Description

We are seeking an Attorney with a focus on Commercial Real Estate and Acquisitions, based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves managing new projects, understanding acquisitions and development, and drafting documents. The position is situated within the legal industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee new legal projects

• Understand and work with acquisitions and development within the commercial law sector

• Read, interpret, and draft legal documents

• Provide legal expertise in the areas of affordable housing, multi-family housing, and low income tax

• Oversee and manage legal aspects of commercial developments and acquisitions

• Work independently, without the need for closing assistance

• Ensure all legal procedures and processes are compliant with industry standards

• Maintain regular communication with clients and provide timely updates on their legal matters

• Develop and implement efficient processes for managing legal projects and tasks.

Requirements

• Must possess a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Must be admitted to the Georgia Bar.

• Proficient in Commercial Law, Acquisitions, and Drafting.

• Proven background in corporate law (specifically in mergers & acquisitions).

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
