Mission:
As part of the Global Data, Analytics & AI team, the Intern - will be responsible for developing insights, reports, visualizations, and dashboards to drive business value. They will also be responsible for building machine learning models to predict outcomes and create efficiencies.
The mission of this position is to analyze business issues and to identify and develop solutions to meet the needs. The analyst formulates and defines objectives based on both business needs and best practices.
Essential Job Functions:
Build Forecasting and Simulations AI/ML models. Determine significant variables for asset & process optimization use cases.
Gather the business/functional requirements and develop the solutions that meet the business needs
Apply critical thinking skills and perform analytics with the goal of solving business problems utilizing the firm's elected analytics and visualization platforms, Qlik Sense
Ability to build relationships and leverage subject matter expertise to driving conversations and/or influence decisions/direction with Business and Technology areas
Effectively communicate with project team members and sponsors throughout the project lifecycle (status updates, gaps/risks, roadblocks, testing outcomes, etc.)
Create work aids to standardize processes on the Global Analytics team.
Experience & Technical Skills Required:
1+ years of building models in R or Python. Working knowledge of Gen AI, LLM’s a plus
1+ years of Qlik Sense Developer experience. Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus
Ability to analyze AI/ML model results and explain to business users a course of action
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage all facets of the BI project lifecycle (data exploration, hypothesis testing, code development, testing/validation, deployment, etc.)
Ability to build relationships and leverage subject matter expertise to driving conversations and/or influence decisions/direction with Business and Technology areas
Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Educational Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college majoring in an IT related field. Equivalent work experience considered

Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to translate technical information into language non-technical people will understand
